Parents and Caregivers involvement and Participation

Parents and community members play a critical role in the school's programs.

• Volunteers assist students with their individual programs
• A number of parents assist the library book maintenance and library programs
• Parents and community members attended an internet cafe run by the school computer teacher
• Parent's support of sporting programs has enabled the students to participate in a broad range of sporting activities.
• Parents and community members contribute to the Priority School Funding Program (PSFP) committe
• Parent's involvment includes coaching boy's and girl's softball and touch football
• Parets workshops included a program for parents of Kindergarten of 2006 to provide an understanding and home support in numeracy and literacy.
